AEV is pleased to announce the release of our highly anticipated Roof Rack for the 2007+ Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited. This exceptionally lightweight, extruded aluminum roof rack is designed specifically to be easy to live with and is intended to carry bulky cargo during your next back county excursion.
Every aspect of the AEV Roof Rack for the Jeep JK Wrangler has been carefully thought through in typical AEV fashion. This rack features a sleek, low profile design for minimal wind noise. The Roof Rack’s wide floor planks are not only easy to walk on or sleep on, but also integrate hidden “T” slot tracks so that semi-permanent accessory mounts or tie downs are a breeze. AEV utilizes mounting brackets that pass through the hard top and attach securely to the Jeep’s roll bar. This creates a very strong, secure mounting system that evenly distributes the weight of your cargo directly to the roll bar, placing no load on the hard top itself.
The outer edges of the AEV Jeep JK Wrangler Roof Rack feature AEV’s black textured powder coat finish for a very clean look that will compliment your other AEV products. The aluminum floor planks feature an anodized finish to reflect heat, thus keeping the vehicle’s interior cooler in hot climates. This combination of extruded aluminum and a quality surface coating, work together to make the AEV Roof Rack highly corrosion resistant.
An optional Full Rail Kit is available to add unique styling and enhanced cargo management capabilities to the AEV Roof Rack. This extruded aluminum, rail kit features a durable black powder coat finish which complements the Roof Rack as well as your other AEV accessories. The Full Rail Kit will add an additional 3” to the overall height of the AEV Roof Rack. To further aid with cargo management, optional Eye-Bolt Tie Downs provide a secure tie down point for your cargo. These Tie Downs easily attach to the Roof Rack platform by utilizing the T-slots located on each of the floor planks and are sold as a set of two.
