AEV products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of initial retail purchase, with the exception of wheels which carry a separate lifetime structural warranty.

AEV warrants that each part will be free from defects and workmanship for the applicable warranty period and no other warranty, expressed or statutory, shall be implied. If any defect in AEV’s parts or workmanship is discovered and AEV is notified within the warranty period and is otherwise not limited by the terms of this Warranty, AEV shall, at its sole election, either (i) repair the defective part, (ii) replace the defective part, or (iii) reimburse the customer for the purchase price of the defective part.

The warranty will not cover:

  1. Secondary owners of the product in question. AEV’s Warranty is only applicable to the original owner of the product.
  2. Malfunction or failure of any product caused by improper or inadequate maintenance.
  3. Malfunction or failure of any product caused by abuse, misuse, modifications, improper installation or adjustments, alterations, tampering, neglect, fire, vandalism, use of leaded gasoline, or contaminated fuel.
  4. Any product made part of a vehicle used in racing, competition or commercial activities of any kind, regardless of whether the failure of the product can be directly linked to the involvement of the vehicle in any race, competition or commercial activity.
  5. Paint damage, including but not limited to chips, scratches, dents, or dings caused by normal or abnormal use or weather, including but not limited to stones, rocks, bird droppings, tree sap, wind, or hail.
  6. Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use, rental car charges, or commercial loss caused by a warrantable malfunction.
  7. Wear items, such as bushings, bump stops, heim joints, beadlock rings and/or brake rotors.
  8. Shipping charges back to AEV.

To make a claim under this Warranty and to obtain a return merchandise authorization number, which will be required if the defective part is to be returned to AEV, please contact AEV at 248-926-0256. Proof of purchase and photo documentation of the defect will be required, and in most situations AEV will require that the defective part be sent back to us for inspection. In situations where a replacement part must be sent to the customer before the defective part can be returned, AEV reserves the right to charge the customer for the replacement part. This charge will be refunded if after inspection, AEV determines that the part was defective and covered under the terms of this Warranty.
