AEV Featured on Autoblog

Just released today on Autoblog.com, the article titled “2011 AEV Jeep Wrangler Hemi : Conquering Trails And Tarmac In A V8 Monster” is first hand account of Steven Ewing’s day in Northern Michigan along with a few AEV Wranglers. We’re always pleased when people that really know cars like Autoblog make comparisons like AEV Wrangler’s are the Roush of Mustangs, and that our vehicles are spiritually related to the Porchse 911. We agree.

While we don’t want to completely re-hash the story, there were a couple of things we really liked. No spoilers though, I won’t tell you what happens to Gar at the end (Actually, I’m not sure what happens to Gar at the end. He seemed scrappy enough. He’s probably fine). Some of the highlights for us include:

  • [AEV suspension components] work together to create an on-road driving experience that’s unlike any other hardcore off-road vehicle. In our estimation, it’s even better than the standard off-the-shelf Wrangler.

  • The combination of V8 power and proven off-road suspension geometry meant our Wrangler was nearly unstoppable.

  • The AEV Hemi Wrangler builds on Jeep’s legacy of off-road prowess, enhancing the off-road experience, while keeping things cool and comfortable for the drive back home.

  • Think of it as the 911 Turbo of Wranglers.

That all sounds about right. We work very hard to provide the highest quality parts and services in the Jeep aftermarket; We all appreciate the support and kind words. Thanks again to Steven for riding along with us and Autoblog for the article. We had a great time and look forward to meeting up again soon.
