AEV’s Spare Tire Adapter Kit eliminates these compromises with a purpose-built, under-bed solution that works seamlessly with the Silverado and Sierra’s factory spare tire winch system.
The custom bracket features a low-profile hub and extended arms that safely support the wheel and tire, keeping it secure and out of the way. Foam pads and OEM-grade hardware prevent unwanted movement and rattling, while durable ASTM A36 steel construction with zinc and E-coat protection ensures the brackets will stand up to years of use in any environment. Designed specifically for AEV Salta XR and Crestone wheels, it also offers compatibility with other aftermarket wheels that share similar center bore dimensions. Down to 2.25”.

- Will this work on a non-AEV wheel?
It will depend on the center bore size. This product is specifically designed to pair with our 35" Tire Clearance kit which requires AEV Crestone wheels or Salta XR wheels, but will potentially work on other wheels with a 2.2" center cap opening.
- Does this kit use the spare tire winch?
Yes, it just replaces the factory stamped retainer with smaller AEV brackets.
- Does this require 35" tires?
No, it will work with factory size tires with AEV wheels, but larger than 35" tires will not fit underneath the bed of these trucks without modification.
