AEV is pleased to announce the release of its new 6.4L HEMI Conversion Kits for 2007-2011 Jeep JK Wranglers. Like AEV's current 5.7L Conversion Kit, this new one will benefit from the same considerable attention to detail that AEV is so well known for. From the use of OE-style engine management to computer-tested wiring harnesses and perfectly fitted hard parts, AEV has carefully addressed all aspects of the conversion to create the most complete and user-friendly kit on the market. AEV has even developed a special glass filled nylon throttle body adapter to cleanly convert the 6.4L's left-hand-fed intake manifold with the Wrangler's right-hand-fed airbox.  This adapter comes pre-installed on a new variable length runner intake and was designed to provide full volume flow and performance and looks like a factory offering.

When AEV's new 6.4L HEMI Conversion Kit is combined with Chrysler's tremendously powerful 6.4L HEMI (470HP/470TQ), the result is a high-performance JK that puts more power to the ground than most muscle cars, while retaining the factory reliability and serviceability of a stock Wrangler.

Last November at SEMA 2011 Jessi Combs of Autoblog stopped by to talk to AEV's Dave Harriton about the Brute Double Cab. She even asked if she could take it for a drive! Check out the video to see if she was given the keys.

TJ Brute Featured on Popularmechanics.com

In recent months the tried and true TJ Brute has taken a back seat to the widely discussed Brute Double Cab, but Popular Mechanics hasn't forgotten this Brute of a truck. Available in kit form, the Brute has proven time and time again that it is still the best DIY Wrangler pickup conversion on the market. Check out the write-up below and check out Popular Mechanics' full slideshow of Rugged Off-Road Trucks You Won't Find in the Showroom (IE users only.)

AEV is pleased to announce the release of its highly anticipated 2.5" DualSport XT Suspension System. As with AEV's taller suspensions, we've packed more engineering, features and handling into our 2.5" lift than any other suspension at its price point.

Like AEV's top-shelf 3.5" and 4.5" DualSport Systems, this kit is full-featured including exclusive frequency-tuned, triple-rate progressive coil springs matched with AEV custom-tuned Bilstein shocks. We've allowed enough clearance for 35" tires and the system is compatible with both gas and diesel engines. Handling has been improved thanks to a new rear trackbar tower and trackbar to correct roll-center geometry. This new suspension system offers a more user-friendly lift height and a more affordable price along with increased off-road performance and handling. Weight carrying abilities remain identical to our 3.5" and 4.5" Systems and allow for the use of our Front and Rear Bumpers plus accessories.

We know the new 2.5" DualSport XT will exceed expectations for what a 2.5" suspension can be, thanks to its unique combination of high performance, day-to-day usability and price point.

One of the most misunderstood products in off-roading is the beadlock wheel. The folks over at Petersen's 4-Wheel & Off-Road decided to dispel a few of those myths by walking through a home installation of an AEV Pintler Beadlock Wheel.

AEV's Beadlock Wheels are designed specifically for Jeeps and differentiate themselves from other beadlock wheels in that the beadlocks are cast — as opposed to cut and welded — to ensure structural integrity.

Our customers have come to expect a high level of attention to design and function from AEV products and our Beadlock Wheels are a prime example of why. With a hub-centric design, recessed valve stems, TPMS compatibility and a lifetime structural warranty you can rest assured that when you need to air down to single digits our Beadlock Wheels will perform the way you need them to.

New Cordura® Seat Covers!

AEV is proud to announce the release of our genuine Cordura® Seat Covers for the 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler. Made from one of the toughest materials on the planet, AEV Seat Covers offer the ultimate protection for your seats. They’re made to stand up to toughest conditions, from the rainy season in Costa Rica to a Jeep full of rambunctious kids and pets. Made of waterproof, 1000 denier Cordura®, they are more durable and longer lasting than neoprene seat covers, and offer better water protection by repelling water away from your seats.  These covers will last for years.

We've engineered our Seat Covers to fit snugly over your seats using easy hook-and-loop fasteners for quick, secure installation. They will not interfere with the motion of your seat, and still allow full folding, sliding, tumbling forward and laying back. Removal is also an easy process, making AEV's Seat Covers ideal for temporary or year-round protection.  Keeping these covers looking new is a cinch, simply machine launder with cool water and drip-dry.

Our seat covers are available in 3 colors:

  • Khaki (to match 07-10 khaki interiors)
  • Saddle (to match 11+ saddle interiors)
  • Black (to match darker interiors from any model year)

Note: Not recommended for use on vehicles with side air bags, may adversely affect performance.

At first, it seemed like the suspension, which felt perfect on-road, might be mushy on the trails. But it turned out all the talk about AEV founder and president David Harriton's quest for perfection in ride control wasn't just a bunch of hype.
