If you've had much experience with suspension lifts, you know that the ground clearance and wheel travel benefits they deliver on the trail can very often be offset by ride quality and directional control problems on the highway. This can lead to a vehicle that is something of a compromise to drive. In some cases the compromise can be so severe that the vehicle truly becomes unsafe, particularly during accident-avoidance maneuvers.
