The paints and finishes used on AEV bumpers are designed to meet or exceed OE specifications to ensure industry leading corrosion protection. They include:
AEV’s Premium and MILSPEC bumpers have been carefully engineered to install as quickly and easily as possible. Evidence of this can be found in key areas. For example, the winch installs independently of the bumper so you don’t have to lift a bumper and a winch onto the chassis rails.
Flag nuts are included for tight areas where fitting a wrench would be difficult. Additionally, wrench ports have been built in to make fitting a wrench simple when it’s necessary. Lastly, on the Premium Model, new crush cans are preinstalled so you don’t have to mess with the old ones from your factory bumper.
Both AEV front bumpers are designed for winching and feature a useful winch cable window to easily see and manage the cable during winching operations. Note- actual winch mount is optional.
AEV’s Premium Bumper retains the factory crush cans to help prevent low-speed deployment of your airbags. It also provides a convenient location to install the factory JK fog lamps
Stamped steel products can be contoured in ways that press- brake products can’t be. Stamping also work-hardens the steel for more strength with less weight and the countours lend structural rigidity.
AEV’s optional tow points are also set up for hassle-free flat towing on the highway. These tow points accommodate Mopar towbars and don’t hang down low like most tow mounts.
