This is the same technology auto manufactures rely upon to produce stylish bumpers, rugged frames and exotic body panels for production automobiles. By bringing this technology to the 4WD aftermaket, AEV has virtually turned the the traditional bumper industry upside-down. Why? Because stamping allows a level of styling freedom and structual economy that is unacheiveable with press-break fabricated bumpers. And to set the bar yet another step higher, all AEV bumpers recieve an OE-level coating process that includes E-Coat dipping, zinc-rich powder primer and a top coat of durable textured black powder coating. AEV MILSPEC Bumper

The MILSPEC Bumper was developed for the Jeep J8 military program, but is now being offered to the public. This bumper delivers rugged simplicity, maximum approach angle and distinct military styling. The MILSPEC Bumper can be accessorized with a winch mount, auxillary light mounts, lower skid plate, tow points and stainless steel mesh.

AEV Premium Bumper

The Premium Bumper looks similar to the MILSPEC and shares its robust mounting system and heavy gauge stamped steel facia, but it also includes low-speed crush cans for AirBag-compatibility, factory fog lamp openings, tow points, auxillary light mounts and stainless steel mesh. And like the MILSPEC Bumper it can also be upgraded with a winch mount and lower skid plate.

Compatible Winches

When equipped with a winch mount, both AEV bumpers work with most popular winches up to 9500lbs. Note - neither bumper is compatible with the Warn Powerplant or Warn 8274.

Tow Points and Protection

AEV's Premium and MILSPEC bumpers can both be had with heavy-duty, chassis mounted tow points and a stamped steel skid plate to protect steering and sway bar components.

Auxillary Light Mounts

Both AEV front bumpers can be upgraded with mounts for large off-highway driving lights.
