American Expedition Vehicles is proud to announce the release of its snorkel intake system for the Jeep JK Wrangler. Constructed from nearly indestructible cross-linked polyethylene, the snorkel is offered with its own highly effective cyclonic pre-filter that literally separates dust from air, dramatically extending the service life of the engine's factory filter. The complete package includes detailed instructions along with hardware and can be installed with only minor modifications to the stock JK hood. Practical upgrades include AEV's stylish steel Heat Reduction Hood, which is pre-cut for the snorkel, just like the original Jeep M38A1 hood.

For the seasoned 4-wheel drive adventurer, thousands of miles behind the wheel make one fact obvious - proper tuning of the vehicle's suspension is critical. From high and low-speed handling characteristics, to pure load-carrying might, extended 4-wheel drive trips continually test a suspension's capabilities and reveal every strength and weakness.

For this reason, American Expedition Vehicles has always outfitted its Jeeps with the best-tuned suspension products in the aftermarket. With the addition of Nth Degree to American Expedition Vehicles, the finest in aftermarket suspension tuning has now come under one roof.

There are plenty of advantages to modifying your 2007+ Jeep Wrangler JK. Unfortunately when you have tires 35 inches or bigger, the factory tire jack just isn't big or tall enough to change a tire. This, plus there are times when the ground is too soft to use the small footprint of the factory jack and times when you need a wheel chock in a sticky situation. Like all AEV products, ths AEV JK Jack Base was custom designed to OE specifications and is a must-have for any serious off-road enthusiast.

January 22, 2008 -

The AEV Jack Base for 2007-08 Wrangler provides 3-1/2 inches of added lift height to the stock "scissors" jack - allowing tires of up to 37" or more to be changed with ease and stability. The large 7.5" x 10.5" base gives the jack better stability in off-road and soft soil conditions. Handy compartments in the base store your AEV lug nut extension, and there’s even a slot for the OE wheel lock key. Base is shaped to fit neatly into the rear floor compartment and out of sight. The Jack Base can also double as a wheel chock to prevent a disabled vehicle or trailer from rolling. A must-have for any serious off-road enthusiast.

December 27, 2007 -

When AEV decided to open a new conversion facility in Detroit, there was an obvious problem, who do you hire to make sure the quality of the vehicles stays on top? The answer was simple, get the guy who made sure the vehicles were engineered and built correctly at Jeep itself.

A graduate of GMI with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Dave was a lifelong Jeep enthusiast when he attended the first Camp Jeep event in 1995 as a paying customer and asked event organizers: “When are you going to hire some cool engineers?” So they did. Dave spent the next 11 years working for Chrysler in Jeep Vehicle Development. In 2000 Dave helped to develop the first prototype for a bigger, badder Jeep, springing it on his bosses during a management ride on California’s famed Rubicon Trail. In 2003 the vehicle became Jeep legend when the first Wrangler Rubicon rolled off the line. Dave joined AEV in 2007. Among his seven Jeeps are an original AEV long wheelbase TJ, and his HEMI-fied Blue Brute with Dynatrac Pro Rock 60 axles, Nth Degree Long Arm suspension, and 39″ BFG Krawlers.
