Filson and AEV – Fox News

Do you like riding in the rough stuff but not roughing it? If so, the Filson Edition AEV Wrangler may be the thing for you.

It’s the second collaboration between upscale outfitter Filson and Jeep customizer American Expedition Vehicles. Last year, the pair launched a $130,000 luxed-up version of the AEV Brute — a Wrangler that’s been converted into a pickup. This time around, the unique treatment has been applied to the Wrangler, in both two- and four-door models.

Show Stopper: AEV Releases Aussie Inspired Ram 2500 – Expedition Portal

Chris Noel and Chris Cordes stopped by the American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) SEMA booth to check out the new Ram Truck and Jeep JK Wrangler products for 2014/2015.

Last year AEV stunned full size truck fans with their new line of products for RAM trucks and this year they raised the bar with another show stopper, their Aussie inspired tray-back Ram 2500. Fitted with AEV’s front bumper, a three-inch DualSport suspension system, raised air intake system, high-clearance fender flares and 17×10 Katla wheels with 41-inch Super Swamper IROK tires, this is a beast of a thing to behold. The tray-back bed and 66 gallon fuel capacity give it a sense of purpose that is without a doubt, no nonsense.

OffRoad Xtreme SEMA Coverage of AEV Products

David Chick of Offroadxtreme.com covers the 2014 SEMA Show and American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) new Ram truck and Jeep JK Wrangler products.

As it turned out, two items were of special interest to the off-roading crowd, and reflected the company’s growing interest in Mopar applications: a raised air intake system for Cummins trucks, as well as the new differential cover for Jeep Wrangler Rubicons.

Chrysler WCM / PCM Flash Technical Bulletin for AEV HEMI JKs

AEV Technical Bulletin – 10/28/14

Chrysler currently has a flash update for the WCM (Wireless Control Module) on the JK Wrangler that will activate when the dealership diagnostic tools are plugged into the Jeep. It is not necessary to complete this update on AEV Hemi JK’s. If this flash is completed on an AEV Hemi equipped JK, the vehicle will be disabled and will not run. DO NOT REFLASH THE WCM OR PCM ON ANY AEV HEMI Upgraded Vehicles.

There is currently no definitive fix for vehicles that have been re-flashed. If your vehicle actually needs a new WCM, please contact AEV’s Tech dept BEFORE doing anything.

For any questions or concerns, please contact the AEV Tech Dept at 248-926-0256 x2.

The Ultimate Overlander : North America’s Pinnacle 4WD

For North America, we are already hamstrung by limited options; solid axle Defenders, Land Cruisers and Patrols all painfully absent. This opinion is not “which is the best overland vehicle in the world” (or even to drive around the world), but the ultimate new 4WD available in the USA, one that provides the best overall performance and attributes for backcountry adventure travel. After considerable research and years of extensive testing, we believe the ultimate new overland 4WD available in the USA is the AEV Brute Double Cab. I am not a “Jeep guy”, but this truck is without question the most exceptional travel/adventure 4WD I have tested in North America.

Popular Mechanics : The Best Jeep That Jeep Doesn’t Build

Lucky for me, they haven’t done that yet, because I’m here with the American Expedition Vehicles JK350. And it doesn’t need any help…
